Oregon School vs. Utah, taken: Utes win first Pac-12 championship, Rose Bowl wins Ducks
History has been repeating itself over the past two weeks as Utah demands its first Pac-12 championship on Friday
Utah completed the trip on Friday night to enter the program where No. 17 Utes blast No. 10 Oregon 38-10 with the first title of the Pac-12 program. The lead victory over the Ducks in the Pac-12 Championship game also culminated in Utah's first appearance at the Rose Bowl, where he will either face Iowa or Ohio State.
The result came 13 days after Utah's 38-7 win over Oregon won the Pac-12 South Utes. The replay game was just as powerful, and it took just one drive for Utah to discover that it had no intention of allowing the Ducks to take revenge. The Utes went 61 yards in nine games to score points in the first game and did not look back.
Utah estimated Oregon to be just 221 yards away as the Utes finally managed to win the league after the start of their disastrous season by 1-2. This victory is especially noticeable in the program because of the tragedy it has experienced in recent months. Two Utah players, Ty Jordan and Aaron Lowe, died last year with Lowe's death in a shooting that rocked the program in September.
Utes honored their fallen teammates in various ways throughout the season and Friday's performance was another and worthwhile one. Utah stopped Oregon from being the first team to win three consecutive Pac-12 Championship games and a 37-15 defeat to the Ducks in the 2019 league title game that eliminated the Utes from the College Football Playoff.
Defender Devin Lloyd took home the MVP award for the game. He finished with seven tackles and a return of tone-setting interception to touch the ground in the first quarter to put the Utes 14-0.
SOUND SOUND !!!!!!! #Amageza

New Length of Utes
No doubt this marks the plain of Utah as a Power Five plan. Utah did not lose by winning the Fiesta Bowl and the Sugar Bowl in 2004 and 2008, respectively. But that success came when the program was in Mountain West. After that, the Utes were on the CFP border in 2019 before losing to the league title in Oregon and advancing to the Alamo Bowl.
Head coach Kyle Whittingham is in his 17th season and has been working in Utah since 1994. What he has achieved is to ensure the culture he has built and maintained for a long time in a game that is often unstable. Maybe it could be a launch pad for even bigger things.
If the CFP has a 12-team stadium this season, the Utes will be liable for inclusion as a major team and will be on the field if the power conference champions receive automatic bids. A team like this, which grinds down defensively and firmly, can be a nightmare in a first-round match. As it stands, the appearance of the Rose Bowl will bring plenty of play with the team shooting at all cylinders
Where is Oregon going from here?
This was about the effectiveness of the Oregon program. Questions about the future of coach Mario Cristobal revolve around speculation that he will excel in the Miami career if the Hurricanes part with Manny Diaz. Expect that guess to rise now as Oregon has finished playing until its cup game.
Even if Cristobal returns for the fifth season in Oregon, there are still issues that need to be addressed. The group has been attacked twice in the past three weeks by Utah's physical group. Also, don't forget that while the Ducks technically won the 2020 Pac-12 tournament, they only played in the game due to the problems of COVID-19 in Washington. Oregon is only 11-6 in its last 17 games.
There is one thing that seems certain: there will be much needed refinement. Offensive lineman Joe Moorhead is expected to be the next coach at Akron and quarterback Anthony Brown is unqualified. Ty Thompson, a five-star quarterback from the 2021 Class, is waiting on the wings to take over the gig. The next re-run of the Oregon case will require a major explosion if the system is to officially compete for a place in the four-team CFP.
Order Pac-12 pecking
Utah's victory keeps Oregon winning the third consecutive Pac-12 Championship and shows how far the league is left. The Utes are strong for Pac-12 South, having won three division titles in the last four seasons. But that successful run is in line with USC's low season.
New Trojans coach Lincoln Riley should be encouraged by what he saw on Friday night. If a Utah team with recruitment classes is always ranked in the 30s and 40s of the 247Sports teams running the conference, Riley should love his chances of quickly getting Trojans to the league title mix.
